Good times, Great response!
This weekend’s Walton Arts Festival, Between The Tides, was a great success, with fun and activities all over the town. The huge number of art shows, bands playing, family activities and story-telling events in a wide range of venues drew impressive audiences from the town and surrounding areas. With excellent feedback from attendees, organisers plan to run the next festival in 2028, but watch out for events all over Walton from now on, as the town cements its creative and artistic reputation.
For those keen on numbers, there were 33 bands, DJs and music events, 34 art shows and events, 27 family events, and 20 story tellers, all taking place in 30 venues. Hundreds of people turned up to participate and spectate, many of them commenting on the high quality of the entertainment and performances.
Festival organiser, Eleanor Brown from the Nose Bookshop said, “We’ve been overwhelmed by the outpouring of positivity from everyone who came to Walton Arts Festival. So many members of the community telling us how much of a good time they’ve had and our performers and artists loving the experience of taking part and we are delighted and grateful to all who helped out and supported in so many ways.“

Walton Pre School we enjoyed along with the children & parents participating in the Under the Sea shoe box carnival and crowned winners for ‘Best Dressed’. Well done all & Walton x
